About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on technical projects within our engineering division. You will receive feedback from managers and peers while participating in training sessions and presentations. Projects are based on current business needs and focus on applying engineering principles to real-world hardware systems.
What you'll do#
- Support new applications by defining the use of existing ASICs and identifying new ASIC requirements.
- Build and test prototype samples.
- Create engineering prints and technical specifications.
- Use computer modeling to visualize designs and evaluate device performance.
- Select components and equipment based on reliability and specification analysis.
- Evaluate equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
- Design, develop, and modify electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.Eng., or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident status.
- Eligibility to obtain authorization under ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Ability to apply core engineering concepts to novel or complex problems.
- Strong communication skills for sharing technical information with teams and customers.
