Program Manager Intern

About the role#

The Program Manager Intern position supports the New Product Development (NPD) team at Senior Aerospace. This role is designed to provide exposure to program management, commercial strategy, and production oversight. Interns work directly with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, operations, and contracts to drive project execution and process efficiency. This is an on-site, part-time position with a flexible schedule.

What you'll do#

• Assist the NPD team with daily operations and special project assignments.
• Support commercial development programs by driving and closing project action items.
• Contribute to program execution and provide production support, including logistics and issue resolution.
• Prepare program materials for customer reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.
• Conduct data analysis to assist with trend identification and reporting.
• Complete at least one primary project during the term to be presented in a team review.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a BS, MS, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Physics.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to solve unfamiliar problems using first principles of engineering and physics.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical competence with examples of actual execution.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Location & details#

• Location: Burbank, California.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time, 12-29 hours per week.
• Compensation: Paid at $25.00 per hour.
• Regulatory Note: Access to facilities is restricted under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Persons or properly licensed foreign persons.
