About the role#
Sedaro is hiring a Modeling & Simulation Intern to build high-fidelity simulations for our platform. You will report to the Modeling & Simulation Team Lead and contribute to the development of tools that support mission engineering and model-based optimization.
What you'll do#
- Write software to model complex physical systems.
- Validate your models using real-world data.
- Configure and run large-scale multi-simulation studies using cloud compute resources.
- Analyze simulation results and create analytics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with git, automated testing, and standard software development tools.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Ability to validate simulation models against real-world data.
- U.S. Citizenship.
Location & details#
- The role is based in Arlington, Virginia.
- This is a hybrid position.
- The internship is a paid, full-time role with a rolling term.
- Compensation is $35-50 per hour.
