About the role#
Sedaro is seeking interns to contribute to the compiler that powers our aerospace simulation platform. You will build features for our compiler and runtime, develop optimizations, and use cloud infrastructure to improve performance and scale. This role involves working with Rust, Python, Kubernetes, and gRPC to support digital mission engineering.
What you'll do#
- Build features for our compiler, query language, and type system.
- Develop data structures, algorithms, and utilities for our runtimes.
- Establish best practices for maintaining quality in real-world software.
- Learn how to track performance metrics of both static and generated code.
- Gain experience with the Rust programming language.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Some familiarity with the design and implementation of programming languages.
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status.
