About the role#
The Finance Intern will support operational finance and accounting functions within the division. This role reports to the Manager, Finance and Treasury and provides hands-on experience in month-end reporting, account reconciliation, and project support.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and record month-end accounting journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of month-end reports.
- Analyze account balances and financial results at month-end.
- Support special projects and documentation of financial procedures.
- Assist with general accounting and financial duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd-year undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Completion of introductory accounting coursework is preferred.
- Demonstrated project or contract knowledge gained through class projects or previous co-op terms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.

- Location: North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a 40-hour work week.
- Compensation: Paid at $28.00 per hour.
