Intern, Finance (FP&A)

About the role#

The Finance Intern will support operational finance and accounting functions within the division. This role reports to the Manager, Finance and Treasury and provides hands-on experience in month-end reporting, account reconciliation, and project support.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and record month-end accounting journal entries.
• Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of month-end reports.
• Analyze account balances and financial results at month-end.
• Support special projects and documentation of financial procedures.
• Assist with general accounting and financial duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a 2nd or 3rd-year undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Completion of introductory accounting coursework is preferred.
• Demonstrated project or contract knowledge gained through class projects or previous co-op terms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.

• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026).
• Location: North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
• Modality: This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a 40-hour work week.
• Compensation: Paid at $28.00 per hour.
