About the role#
The AI Intern supports departmental initiatives by participating in projects and daily operations. This role provides practical exposure to how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies function within a corporate environment. Interns gain technical awareness and professional experience while learning about the company's operational framework through tours and shadowing. This is a paid, part-time position with a starting rate of $20 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Build, deploy, and monitor AI tools responsibly to support business processes.
- Conduct research, organize information, and prepare reports or summaries.
- Assist with daily operational tasks and maintain documentation or data tracking.
- Participate in onboarding sessions, training, and cross-departmental tours.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing your learning and project contributions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the MDC AI Elite Talent Hub Program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Relevant coursework or knowledge in AI, programming, or computer science.
- Intermediate skills with the MS Office suite, including Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Ability to think logically, follow procedures, and prioritize administrative assignments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
