About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside professional analysts and portfolio managers within the Jarislowsky Fraser research team. You will contribute to the team's business strategies by executing specific projects and supporting day-to-day operations. The role requires a strong focus on compliance, risk management, and the firm's core values.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Research Analysts on fundamental research and ad hoc assignments.
- Manage data organization, financial modeling, and valuation tasks.
- Draft reports and prepare presentations.
- Participate in management team interviews.
- Ensure all work aligns with governing regulations, internal policies, and business controls.
- Support an inclusive and high-performance team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in your 3rd or final year.
- Academic focus in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- A clear passion for investing.
- Experience with and knowledge of artificial intelligence and large language models, plus an interest in emerging technologies.
- Analytical and accounting skills, including financial modeling proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to function effectively within a team.
- Membership in a school investment program and a high GPA are considered assets.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
