About the role#
The IT Risk Advisory Services practice is hiring for the 2027 summer internship program. You will join the engagement team to focus on IT compliance and advisory projects. You will work with a range of clients across the public and private sectors to test IT and security controls. This role helps you build a foundation for a career in governance, risk, and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing risk assessments, audit plan programs, and internal audit reports.
- Identify, evaluate, and document IT risks and controls.
- Perform and document test results and walkthroughs of IT processes.
- Evaluate evidence to determine if controls are effective for SOC 1, SOC 2, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Participate in special projects including data mining, security assessments, and process flowcharting.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Interest in IT compliance, advisory, governance, and risk.
- Understanding of IT and security controls.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
