Yard Clerk

About the role#

Lake Country Co-op is hiring a full-time Yard Clerk for the Agro location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency, safety, and organization of the yard while providing service to members and guests.

What you'll do#

• Load and unload agro and crop input products, ensuring proper rotation, storage, and cleanliness of the yard and compound.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist in preparing shipping documents and bills of lading.
• Support the mixing and blending of fertilizer and operate a skid steer to move product as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles, and handle seasonal tasks such as snow removal and weed control.
• Ensure all products are stored in compliance with safety and security regulations.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan work and perform tasks unsupervised.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and crouching in outdoor conditions.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; a Class 3A or 1A license is considered an asset.
• Experience with forklift or skid steer operation, or a willingness to obtain certification.
• Familiarity with Agrichemical Warehousing Standards (AWSA) and safe handling practices for crop protection products is an asset.
• Previous experience in agriculture, warehousing, or customer service is preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during seasonal peak periods.
