Yard Attendant

About the role#

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd. is seeking a Yard Attendant for a temporary contract at the Spruce View Farm Centre. This is a full-time, on-site position with a term of approximately six months. Candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

What you'll do#

• Provide excellent customer service to visitors at the Farm Centre.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties as required.
• Operate hand and controlled forklifts to move materials.
• Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What you'll need#

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• A valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is considered an asset.
• Must be over 14 years of age.
• Ability to provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
