Riverbend Co-op is seeking a part-time Student Grocery Clerk to support the Grocery Department at the Outlook Food Store. This position is open to students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management and is available for the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and assist with their shopping needs.
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain organized, clean displays.
- Receive, move, and organize inventory while following safe handling practices.
- Assist with merchandising, pricing, and overall product presentation.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process customer transactions.
- Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and welcoming store environment.
What you'll need#
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly, respectful manner.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Commitment to following all store safety procedures.
