About the role#
This position involves operating the gas bar and convenience store in Assiniboia. You will handle fuel dispensing, point of sale transactions, and customer service to ensure a clean and well-merchandised store environment.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service by assisting customers and sharing product knowledge.
- Dispense gasoline, diesel fuel, and propane safely.
- Operate the point of sale terminal and maintain accurate price files.
- Perform interior and exterior housekeeping, including cleaning and maintaining store equipment like coffee and slush machines.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and displaying products as directed.
- Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with daily environmental checks.
- Maintain store safety, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies.
What you'll need#
- Strong computer skills.
- A desire and ability to work with the public.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Ability to work outdoors and handle a variety of shifts.
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing per the company Alcohol and Substance Policy.
