Gas Bar Attendant (Casual)

About the role#

This is a casual Gas Bar Attendant position based in Blackfalds, Alberta. The role involves working less than 24 hours per week with availability required across weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

What you'll do#

• Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors.
• Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently.
• Dispense fuel and propane with precision.
• Perform windshield cleaning and check oil and fluid levels.
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed.
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need#

• Must be at least 16 years old to comply with government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in fuel dispensing is considered an asset, though training is available.
