About the role#
The Assistant Ag Site Manager provides day-to-day leadership for the Hwy 16 Ag site. This full-time, on-site position focuses on operational efficiency, team leadership, financial performance, and customer engagement while ensuring all activities align with Saskatoon Co-op policies and safety standards.
What you'll do#
- Oversee site operations including ordering, receiving, claims processing, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Lead and develop team members, supporting recruitment, training, performance management, and daily scheduling.
- Manage site budgets, monitor financial results, and implement adjustments to support profitability.
- Support sales growth by executing local marketing activities and engaging with customers to promote Ag Division programs.
- Maintain site standards for image, merchandising, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Track and report on performance data including sales, shrink, and productivity to identify trends and opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Grade 12 education is required. A Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Agribusiness with CCA or P.Ag designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the agriculture sector or a relevant area.
- Proven sales and leadership skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Site Dispenser License.
