About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in food manufacturing. You will work on projects related to continuous improvement, digital systems, and equipment operations. The program includes a final presentation to the senior leadership team. You will also participate in professional and social engagement activities throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Manage two continuous improvement projects from start to finish to drive efficiency.
- Work with equipment operators to document best practices and create standardization guides.
- Help maximize equipment capability and process consistency.
- Convert manual floor data tracking into digital systems to improve Redzone utilization.
- Develop learning module tools for site operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Engineering, Business, or Operations Management.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the rest of the MS Office suite.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
