    About the role#

    The SAP Internship Experience Program is a paid, 10-week summer internship designed to provide university students with hands-on experience in software development. You will work within the SAP SuccessFactors team, focusing on the compensation module and contributing to cloud-based human capital management solutions.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and deliver new features using Java and legacy system stacks within an agile team.
    • Build services utilizing Java, Spring, and REST frameworks, with deployment via Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Collaborate with developers, architects, and scrum teams throughout the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and delivery.
    • Contribute to the development of scalable distributed systems, focusing on cloud-compliant deployments and system improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related engineering discipline.
    • Technical proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, Node.js, Python, HTML5, and JavaScript.
    • Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
    • Experience with source control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
    • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies across IaaS providers including SAP, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
