SAP Concur iXp Intern - Software Developer

About the role#

As a Software Developer Intern within the SAP Concur iXp program, you will join the Concur Platform Engineering team in Vancouver. This role focuses on scaling the Concur App Center architecture and building elastically scalable microservices. You will work across the full stack, contributing to UI clients, server applications, data stores, and delivery pipelines.

What you'll do#

• Build web applications and cloud services using a microservice architecture.
• Own services end-to-end, including code development, test automation, DevOps management, and resolving production issues.
• Understand, debug, and implement meaningful improvements to code used by real customers.
• Utilize AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow to write, review, and improve code.
• Solve complex problems alongside a team of experienced engineers.
• Scale and improve software systems that span multiple teams.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity program (or related field).
• Eligibility includes graduates from coding academies, bootcamps, apprenticeships, or academic programs (associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or JD/PhD).
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
• Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to support inclusive teamwork.
• A growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies.
• Ability to take ownership, learn quickly, and contribute to a platform used by millions.

• Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
• Term: Summer 2026 (8-month contract).
