About the role#
Sanofi offers Summer 2027 Co-Op opportunities for students to work on research and development projects. You will join a team focused on improving patient outcomes through scientific discovery and pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Waltham, Massachusetts. The program lasts for six months, beginning in June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Use AI and machine learning to turn scientific data into insights for drug discovery.
- Develop first-principle, machine learning, and hybrid models to support mRNA and vaccine development.
- Use computational modeling and multi-physics simulation to speed up pharmaceutical process development.
- Work on drug substance development to ensure the precision and safety of treatments.
- Characterize biological medicines to maintain high standards of quality and efficacy.
- Contribute to the development of gene therapies aimed at treating genetic diseases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university, with graduation planned by the end of 2028.
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Chemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site in Waltham.
