About the role#
The Quantitative Pharmacology team at Sanofi is seeking a co-op to support model-informed drug development. You will work within the Translational Medicine Unit to apply mathematical and statistical models across the drug development process. This role involves collaborating with experienced scientists to enhance data-driven decision-making through both traditional pharmacometrics and new AI/ML methods.
What you'll do#
- Develop and apply quantitative, mathematical, and statistical models and simulations.
- Implement modeling and simulation approaches within a quantitative framework.
- Advance innovative methodologies by evaluating and applying AI/ML techniques.
- Perform literature reviews to support project goals.
- Develop computational tools to assist with data integration and predictive modeling.
- Explore how AI/ML methods can augment existing pharmacometrics workflows.
What you'll need#
- You must be a PhD candidate in statistics, biostatistics, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- You should be advanced in your research program.
- You must be enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
- You need a strong academic background in PK/PD, pharmacometrics, pharmaceutical sciences, applied mathematics, statistics, computational biology, or biomedical engineering.
- Experience in data modeling, data science, data visualization, machine learning, and modern computational tools is required.
- You must be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- You must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Morristown, New Jersey.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $57 to $60 per hour.
