About the role#
The Commercial Graduate Program Associate role is a 10-week summer internship within the General Medicines business unit. This position offers exposure to the pharmaceutical industry through project work and mentorship from company leaders. It serves as a pipeline for the three-year Commercial Graduate Program.
What you'll do#
- Lead or support the development of brand strategy.
- Analyze and recommend customer segmentation while developing or optimizing brand messaging.
- Create and develop creative campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence projects.
- Support analytical projects for promoted brands, new product launches, and business development.
- Assess the big data landscape and its relevance to rare diseases.
- Support Global Pricing and Reimbursement activities, including summer pricing updates.
- Work with Value and Access leads on strategic activities for upcoming product launches.
- Research the market access and pricing potential of business development opportunities.
- Complete disease overviews for internal R&D candidates and conduct commercial assessments for M&A opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited MBA program, with the first year of study completed before the 2027 program begins.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the internship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site.
- Strong analytical skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- A desire to serve patients and a passion for patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to take action, challenge the status quo, and take smart risks.
- High ambition for learning and career growth.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is strongly preferred.
