    About the role#

    As a Pharmacy Intern Year 1, you will gain practical pharmaceutical experience under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This role is designed to prepare you for future licensure as a Pharmacist by involving you in the daily operations of a hospital pharmacy. All activities are reviewed and validated for accuracy by a pharmacist in accordance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform accountabilities associated with the compounding, dispensing, charging, and delivery of medications.
    • Work a minimum of 12 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

    What you'll need#

    • Acceptance into an accredited school of pharmacy or a pharmacy early assurance program.
    • Eligibility for a pharmacy intern license or possession of a pharmacy tech license.
    • Required: Missouri Pharmacy Intern License.
    • Less than one year of applicable experience.

    • Location: Saint Luke's North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: PRN, part-time.
    • Compensation: Paid internship.
