As a Jobsite Administrative Assistant Intern, you will support the project team with daily operations while gaining insight into construction industry processes, procedures, and company policies. This role is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with various administrative tasks.
- Greet visitors and coordinate their presence on the jobsite.
- Manage deliveries and prepare documents and supplies for meetings.
- Organize materials and project documentation.
- Support project compliance needs and general administrative functions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering, construction management, or a closely related field (within 18 months of graduation).
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum term of three months.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
