About the role#
The Investment & Valuation team supports renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen. As an intern, you will work with the finance team to provide analysis and advice for investment decisions. This role involves direct collaboration with senior management and exposure to the broader renewables business.
What you'll do#
- Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses for investment opportunities.
- Collect and verify data to ensure the accuracy of valuation results.
- Prepare presentations and papers for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
- Identify and implement improvements to valuation models and investment processes.
- Support internal ad-hoc projects under the guidance of senior management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical).
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge of valuation methodologies, specifically DCF.
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
