About the role#
The Investment & Valuation team at RWE Americas supports the growth of our renewables business, including utility-scale solar, onshore wind, battery storage, and hydrogen. As an intern, you will work with the finance community and the broader renewables business to provide analysis and advice for investment decisions. This role is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses for investment opportunities.
- Collect and validate key inputs for valuation models and investment decisions.
- Prepare presentations and papers for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing investment processes and valuation models.
- Support internal ad-hoc projects involving senior management.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical).
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Knowledge of valuation methodologies, specifically DCF.
- Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This role is based on-site in White Plains, New York.
- The position requires the ability to sit, walk, or stand for long durations.
