About the role#
This internship offers a broad view of how an industrial distributor operates. You will split your time between supporting the Inside Sales team and taking on short-term projects across departments like marketing, operations, or IT. The role is designed for someone who wants to see how a business functions from the sales floor to internal systems.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and follow up on quotes for instrumentation used in mining, water treatment, and power generation.
- Research product specifications and manufacturer documentation to assist with sales configurations.
- Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce to keep the sales pipeline organized.
- Observe customer calls and vendor check-ins to learn how professional relationships are managed.
- Document internal processes to help preserve company knowledge.
- Assist other departments with defined tasks or projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and other Office tools.
- A self-starter mindset that leads you to take initiative on new projects.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in West Jordan, Utah.
- The term runs for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
- This is a paid position.
