About the role#
RS Medical is looking for an IT Programming Intern I to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in software development, system analysis, application design, testing, and implementation. You will work on real-world projects and receive mentorship from experienced IT professionals. This position is open to recent graduates or current seniors.
What you'll do#
- Assist with system analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software enhancements.
- Maintain and improve existing applications and production systems.
- Use source control, version management, issue tracking, and documentation tools.
- Follow coding standards and development best practices.
- Analyze program performance and help troubleshoot issues.
- Work with end users to understand business requirements.
- Participate in project planning, analysis, and design meetings.
- Coordinate with developers, project team members, and stakeholders.
- Provide support during system implementations and post-deployment activities.
- Complete Salesforce Trailhead learning paths during your first 30 days.
What you'll need#
- Current college senior or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 to 6 months of professional IT experience.
- Academic experience with languages like C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Web Architecture, ASP.NET, C#/.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Salesforce or cloud-based development experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a team.
