About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on both new and current technology to build solutions for our games. We aim to match you with a team and product that fits your interests, though this depends on team availability. This role provides eligibility for all software engineering positions across our products.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with developers to create player-facing features for games like League, TFT, or VALORANT.
- Build back-end services that support shared social, client, and platform features.
- Write code to process real-time data for various game teams.
- Learn to operate services at a global scale for millions of players.
- Build and maintain SDKs and APIs used by internal teams to power their games.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technology-related degree program.
- Graduation in the 2028 calendar year.
- Coding experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, or C#.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Availability to work full-time hours for the 12-week duration of the internship.
- Experience as a software developer, including past internships or part-time roles.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and agile practices.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including unit, functional, and integration testing, as well as CI/CD.
- A portfolio or link to a collection of original work or projects.
- Experience with video game projects, specifically in Unity or Unreal Engine.

- Location: Remote (Los Angeles, California hub).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $58.37 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time.
