About the role#
The Technician CO-OP Sponsorship Program offers students the opportunity to earn a degree while gaining hands-on experience with foundation drilling and construction equipment. This program includes paid tuition for approved Diesel Technology or related equipment programs, as well as coverage for books, required fees, and tools. Participants receive competitive pay during summer internships, personalized mentorship from experienced technicians, and potential career opportunities upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair foundation drilling and construction equipment in both shop and field environments.
- Assist with troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and engine systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technology to perform repairs.
- Participate in technical training and professional development sessions.
- Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
- Represent the company professionally at work, school, and within the community.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or graduation prior to the program start.
- Current enrollment or plans to enroll in an approved Diesel Technology, Construction Equipment, Agricultural Equipment, or related technical program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work, school, or personal projects.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and a strong attendance record.
