About the role#
Rheem Manufacturing offers a paid 12-week summer internship for students interested in supply chain management. You will work within the Northeast Distribution Supply team to gain practical experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and sales. You will also learn to use ERP systems and receive forklift certification. At the end of the program, you will present a project to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform daily warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, and order pulling.
- Manage product stocking, bin adjustments, and cycle counts.
- Work with ERP software to support distribution processes.
- Complete a final project for presentation to managers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Supply Chain Management or Industrial Distribution program.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full 12-week term.
- Availability to work rotating Saturdays if required.
- Capability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
- Comfort working in an unconditioned warehouse environment involving continuous walking, bending, and lifting.
- No prior warehouse experience is required.
