About the role#
RH2 offers a paid engineering internship for students interested in utility and infrastructure work. You will work on projects for municipal clients, gaining hands-on experience in consulting engineering. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Medford, Oregon, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal drinking water and wastewater facilities.
- Work on infrastructure projects including pump stations, water and wastewater pipelines, treatment plants, and storage reservoirs.
- Train in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical engineering program at an ABET accredited school.
- Minimum Junior status in your degree program.
- Interest in applying engineering knowledge to water, wastewater, irrigation, electrical, or transportation projects.
- Previous experience or basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus, but not required.

- Compensation: Starts at $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and year in school.
