About the role#
This internship focuses on electrical design for various products and parts. You will work directly with our engineering and administration teams to support the creation of educational robotics materials. This is a temporary position that involves a variety of tasks throughout the day.
What you'll do#
- Create schematic and PCB layouts for specific products.
- Design and build prototype products.
- Assemble parts and products.
- Assist with product testing, evaluation, and documentation.
- Operate production equipment as needed.
- Help ensure the team meets its goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Experience with CAD design tools like Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, or PADS.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills and a flexible schedule.
- Two years of experience with a FIRST Robotics team or similar robotics programs is preferred.
- Experience with soldering, debugging, and testing is preferred.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
