About the role#
The Event Operations Intern supports the execution and coordination of events at Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, and other REV Entertainment projects. You will work with the Rangers Events Operations team to manage logistics, facility rules, and daily ballpark conversions. This is a paid, on-site role that requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Help plan operations and logistics for events alongside the Senior Manager of Event Operations.
- Coordinate conversion activities with event staff, clients, vendors, and production teams.
- Assist with the setup and construction of stages, tables, chairs, bike racks, and stanchions.
- Communicate with clients through calls, emails, site visits, and walk-throughs.
- Manage event documentation, memos, and rental equipment tracking.
- Obtain quotes for operations supplies and assist with product orders.
- Perform physical setup and breakdown services for events.
What you'll need#
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting and carrying objects up to 75 pounds.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional work ethic and a focus on customer service.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in strategic or operational planning is a plus.
