About the role#
We are looking for a Computer Science or Computer Engineering graduate to join our Data and AI team. You will contribute to AI-driven and data engineering solutions while working alongside our engineers on real client-facing deliverables. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and evaluation of ML and AI models, specifically focusing on forecasting and predictive models for time-series data.
- Assist in experimentation with LLMs, including the fine-tuning and deployment of models for applied use cases.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support our AI and data solutions.
- Help build internal tools and dashboards for data visualization and stakeholder reporting.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on technical workstreams, gaining more autonomy as you progress.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. You must not be currently enrolled in university.
- A strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and programming fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Coursework or project experience in machine learning and data science.
- Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with LLM fine-tuning techniques like PEFT or LoRA, or other applied ML techniques.
- Prior experience through internships, research, or open-source projects in AI/ML.
- Strong communication skills.

- This position is based in the Detroit area, Michigan, or Chicago, Illinois.
- The role follows a hybrid work model.
- This is a full-time, paid internship. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
