Lab Co-Op (Fall 2026)

About the role#

The Lab Co-Op provides mechanical and electrical testing support for the development of new components and the improvement of existing products. You will work alongside engineering technicians and design engineers to set up, execute, and document engineering tests, as well as collect and report data.

What you'll do#

• Perform testing to support customer requests and inquiries.
• Execute concept validation, design qualification, and manufacturing validation testing, including all required documentation.
• Participate in reliability testing for new product development launch programs.
• Support product sustainability engineering and agency teams through test execution.
• Complete required training, including onboarding, safety, monthly lab training, soldering, and specific equipment operation.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a relevant field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within global and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
