About the role#
As a Social Media Intern, you will shape how Reflex appears across social platforms. You will gain hands-on experience by creating organic content, managing paid advertising, and analyzing performance data. You will work alongside the Growth and Marketing teams to develop content that grows the Reflex brand and reaches new users.
What you'll do#
- Create engaging content for organic social channels and paid advertising campaigns.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of paid social campaigns, including A/B testing and audience experimentation.
- Monitor key performance metrics and use data to make recommendations for campaign improvements.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages.
- Brainstorm and execute new social media initiatives and creative experiments.
- Support the Growth and Marketing teams with various projects, including drafting communications and developing campaign materials.
- Collaborate with external creative partners to ensure projects stay on brand and on schedule.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Skill in creating engaging content for both organic and paid social media.
- Strong writing and communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, data visualization tools, and advertising platforms.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to turn performance data into insights.
- Enthusiasm for learning, experimenting, and contributing new ideas.
Location & details#
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Location: Austin, Texas. This is an on-site role in our downtown office.
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility for your class schedule.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
