About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based at our San Diego headquarters. You will join a cohort of interns working across various departments, including finance, accounting, data, and real estate operations. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a global real estate investment trust, with the potential for high-performing interns to be considered for future roles.
What you'll do#
- Own one end-to-end project tied to a real business priority, such as analyzing portfolio performance, improving a reporting process, or building a new tool.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and analysis while validating outputs and applying your own judgment.
- Collaborate across departments and with business stakeholders to move your work forward.
- Develop your skills in critical thinking and problem solving.
- Present your findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the conclusion of the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or Master's degree in Real Estate, Development, Urban Planning, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate, finance, accounting, data, or technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Experience as an active user of AI tools in your studies or projects.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and take ownership of your work.
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Prior internship or work experience in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-relevant tools or experience presenting to senior audiences is a plus.

- Location: San Diego, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with Monday through Thursday required in-office and Fridays remote.

- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position.
