    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting during the Winter 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced professionals on client engagements. This role helps you build a foundation for your career through mentorship, training, and real-world projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Review and analyze financial data for businesses across industries like manufacturing, construction, and healthcare.
    • Assist with auditing client financial data to check for accuracy.
    • Perform substantive testing for cash, inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.
    • Research tax laws and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Help with bookkeeping, consulting, and other assurance projects as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an Accounting major.
    • Completion of at least two college-level accounting courses.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and within a team.

    • This position is based on-site at one of our Ohio office locations.
    • The role is full-time.
    • This is a paid internship.
    • You must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
