About the role#
The Access Your Future Service Internship helps you turn classroom learning into real-world skills. You will work alongside experienced technicians and mentors who support your growth as you learn to maintain and repair heavy equipment. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Buda, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service real equipment.
- Document machine details and repair work on service orders, including parts and fluids used.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized.
- Show care for the tools and machines you use.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid attendance record.
- Hands-on experience using mechanical tools.
- Strong computer skills and a passion for customer service.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized.
- Valid work authorization in the United States without company sponsorship.
