About the role#
RBC Capital Markets is hiring for a Global Investment Banking Summer Associate position in New York. This 10-week summer program is designed for students in their penultimate year of an accredited 2-year MBA program. You will work alongside full-time team members to gain experience in investment banking, financial modeling, and transaction execution. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Work on live transactions and client-facing business development initiatives.
- Build and maintain complex financial models.
- Contribute to client meetings and presentations.
- Conduct research to analyze market trends.
- Research and analyze future business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 2-year MBA program with an expected graduation date following the summer term.
- At least 2 years of work experience completed after your undergraduate degree.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong skills in collaboration, relationship building, communication, and integrity.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
