About the role#
As a Summer Analyst in the Capital Structure Advisory group, you will gain hands-on experience within a specialized investment banking team. You will support various financial products, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory work. This role involves participating in the full transaction process, from research and due diligence to the creation of original client materials.
What you'll do#
- Develop financial models to assess debt and equity financing alternatives.
- Perform valuation methodologies, comparative company analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis.
- Research, analyze, and document drafting elements of transactions.
- Collaborate with Senior Bankers to create strategies and client presentations.
- Maintain group databases for ongoing research and analysis.
- Provide input on equity offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program.
- Knowledge of investment banking concepts, financial markets, and accounting principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market events and trends.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.
