About the role#
As a Design Verification intern within the Camera HW group, you will contribute to the verification of next-generation camera chipsets. You will work alongside design engineers to ensure the quality and functionality of complex camera subsystems. This position is a 12 to 16-month internship based in Vancouver, Canada, starting in Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build key components of camera UVM testbenches to enable efficient testing.
- Develop sequences, test cases, and SVAs to meet coverage goals.
- Verify critical functionality in next-generation camera chipsets.
- Develop and evaluate AI workflows to improve the efficiency and quality of verification activities.
- Write formal assertions to verify connectivity and functionality across complex subsystem interactions.
- Automate verification flows using Python, Perl, or shell-scripting.
- Partner with design engineers to define verification needs and create comprehensive test plans and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of November 2028 or later.
- Ability to commit to a 16-month internship from May/June 2027 through August/September 2028.
- At least 1 year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- Proficiency in Verilog or System Verilog and ASIC design verification.
- Experience with scripting languages including Python, Perl, or shell-scripting.
- Knowledge of UVM, C, DPI, and microprocessor architecture or ISA is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
