About the role#
Qode Social is hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern to assist our team with client campaigns. You will support the planning and execution of digital marketing projects while contributing to company growth. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in North York, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize digital campaigns from launch to completion.
- Create user-generated content videos.
- Build media buys for various platforms and manage day-to-day paid media execution.
- Oversee paid media budgets and define key performance indicators.
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and ad grouping.
- Write copy and draft social media posts.
- Manage client accounts, including community management and content moderation.
- Create social media audits and post client blogs.
- Work with other departments to align campaign strategies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time Canadian post-secondary program focused on marketing, communications, journalism, or digital media.
- Experience as a user of platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Basic skills in Instagram, Canva, and AI prompting.
- Strong internet research and computer skills.
- Superior editing abilities for both syntax and context.
- An enthusiastic and motivated approach to social media trends and analytics.
- Interest in paid social media advertising.

- This role is open to Canadian residents, citizens, or those with refugee status who maintain full-time student enrollment.
