About the role#
Q2 is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Austin, Texas. You will work directly on real software projects that support our digital banking and lending solutions.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and test software applications.
- Analyze and visualize data using Python and SQL.
- Collaborate with team members in Agile sprints.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
- Research emerging technologies to help improve our platform.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Familiarity with databases and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and oral English.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States, as we cannot provide visa sponsorship.
