About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Data Science internship for the Summer 2027 term based in Austin, Texas. You will work on-site with our team to gain experience in the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from initial problem definition to system integration.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to define project problems and refine requirements.
- Explore datasets and build prototypes to support model development.
- Learn how data pipelines connect to downstream user interfaces and other systems.
- Assist with testing, monitoring, and bug fixes.
- Gather feedback to help improve our products.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Coursework or project experience using machine learning algorithms and packages.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
- Strong curiosity, a sense of ownership, and a genuine interest in data science.
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
- Exposure to cloud-native or service-oriented architectures is preferred.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle is preferred.
