About the role#
The Research Associate internship provides an opportunity to work directly with the investment team. You will support Global Industry Analysts by researching new investment ideas and maintaining coverage of existing portfolio holdings. This 10-week program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027, and offers mentorship from the senior research team.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain industry and company financial models.
- Conduct research on potential investments by reviewing public filings.
- Participate in meetings with sell-side analysts, industry experts, and investor relations representatives.
- Develop detailed long-term earnings models.
- Prepare materials for meetings with senior management regarding company business models and strategy.
- Perform industry analysis, including the study of competitors and business cycles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- A demonstrated academic background in both quantitative and qualitative skill sets.
- An investigative, analytical mindset and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to use data to form inferences and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a research team.
- Commitment to the full duration of the internship.
Location & details#
- The role is based in New York City.
- This is a hybrid position requiring on-site attendance Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely or in-office on Fridays.
- You must be able to work on-site in New York City for the duration of the internship.
- This position is paid at $30 per hour.
