As a Tax JD Intern, you will join the tax services team to support client engagements, research tax regulations, and assist with tax planning and strategy. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience across various tax disciplines, including International Tax, M&A, Real Estate, and State and Local Tax (SALT). You will work alongside professionals to learn firm methodologies while building your personal brand and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams with daily tasks and client projects.
- Conduct research to assist in tax-related assignments and analyze tax laws and regulations.
- Participate in diverse projects to gain exposure to professional work environments.
- Produce quality work that adds significance to client projects.
- Take initiative to ask questions, seek feedback, and apply firm practices.
- Develop your personal brand through active engagement with team members and clients.
What you'll need#
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- A commitment to undertaking and passing the Bar exam.
- Ability to meet educational requirements prior to starting full-time employment.
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
