About the role#
The Service Desk Intern supports technology operations by managing user devices and resolving daily support tickets. This role provides hands-on experience in an enterprise environment, including exposure to areas like network operations, security, and data analytics. You will work on-site and assist with hardware lifecycles and service delivery standards.
What you'll do#
- Configure, install, and support computing hardware including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, monitors, and docking stations.
- Assist with the annual PC hardware refresh and manage equipment lifecycles.
- Respond to and resolve Service Desk incidents while meeting established service levels.
- Coordinate the setup, teardown, and relocation of equipment across office locations.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A GED or High School Diploma is required.
- You must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work is 100% on-site.
- This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week.
- The internship term is rolling.
