About the role#
As an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory intern, you will work with our clients to solve complex business challenges. This role offers exposure to various industries and helps you build professional capabilities while working on real projects. You will be part of a team that focuses on delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to deliver solutions for clients.
- Work with clients to explore business processes, identify risks, and develop solutions.
- Help clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Assess and advise on the technology landscape, including cybersecurity, AI risk, and data governance.
- Participate in the Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding experience and The Intern Challenge.
- Engage in internal initiatives and networking activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance.
- Expected graduation within 12 months after the internship concludes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems.
- Technical proficiency relevant to your assigned area, including entry-level knowledge of software development and modern tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
- A growth mindset and a willingness to seek feedback.
- Understanding of internal audit processes.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, involving a mix of remote work, local office time, and potential travel to client sites.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $28/hr to $38/hr.
