About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Civil Engineering Internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at one of our office locations. You will assist project engineers with design tasks, calculations, and the production of construction documents.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design work across multiple projects.
- Perform standard engineering calculations using both hand methods and computer software.
- Create drafts and models for engineering designs.
- Coordinate with other design staff to ensure project needs are met.
- Produce construction documents and specifications.
- Review project deliverables to ensure they meet design checklists and drafting standards.
- Organize project files and information according to company workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Civil Engineering or a related field at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Preference for students entering their junior or senior year.
- Experience with computer aided drafting and modeling software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is preferred.
