About the role#
Precision AQ is seeking interns for the Summer 2027 Market Access Consulting team. You will work on real client engagements, functioning in a role similar to a full-time Analyst. This is a paid, full-time position based in New York. You will contribute to project teams, support client deliverables, and collaborate with fellow interns on a dedicated project. The internship requires a minimum commitment of eight weeks.
What you'll do#
- Work with project teams to understand client objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct primary and secondary research using internal and external sources.
- Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Develop strategic recommendations based on research findings and market insights.
- Identify trends and draw conclusions from complex information.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and problem-solving discussions.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other client-facing materials.
- Participate in team meetings and follow-up activities.
- Seek and incorporate feedback from team members and leaders.
- Support business development and proposal activities as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, PharmD, MPH, MBA, or other relevant degree program.
- Academic concentration in Life Sciences, Public Health, Economics, Business, Healthcare, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Undergraduate students must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Advanced degree candidates should have an anticipated graduation date within one year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consulting, or market access.
- Previous internship, research, or leadership experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare system or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
